The Web Content Associate performs as an integral member of a client project team, working closely with colleagues to deliver electronic communication services to a diverse, external client base. A successful Web Content Associate takes great pride in effectively managing clients’ content and keeping it up-to-date, accurate, and beneficial to the target audiences. They are a proactive perfectionist and dedicated team member who is committed to client success and are always looking for ways to improve their skills and knowledge. They have the utmost professionalism and don’t take short cuts that jeopardize quality or security. They possess exceptional time-management skills and are able to effectively translate content edit requests into award winning work. They are also able to juggle multiple client projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively with the entire team including consultants, editors, designers, and project managers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Proactively monitors, manages and makes weekly client content updates in our Content Management System.
- Collaborates closely and proactively with editors, consultants, project managers, and designers to ensure all requested changes are understood and implemented correctly to keep our websites accurate, up-to-date, and fresh and maps out next steps and addresses any potential challenges ahead.
- Ensures site accuracy and consistency in terms of content, link usage, and functionality usage (accordions, tables, headings, call outs, etc.)
- Assists with content creation for new site implementations, creates periodic analytics reports, and participates in quality assurance testing.
- Passionately advocates for user experience design and web usability standards and recommends enhancement opportunities to grow existing relationships.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree preferred.Experience working with content management systems (Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, Umbraco, etc.) highly preferred.HTML and CSS skills highly preferred.Expert Microsoft Office and Google Docs user.Experience with Google Analytics and Data Studio highly preferred.Initiative and drive to plan, execute and complete projects in a dynamic work environment to include supporting a culture of collaboration, passion, quality, and creativity.Curiosity and aptitude to stay current as trends and technologies change.Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills; effective communicator (oral / written) and relationship building skills required to work effectively with colleagues.
