Digital Marketing Manager

Purpose and Objective of Position :

The Brand Communications Manager develops and executes Pizza Ranch's consumer messaging strategy across all digital platforms including social media, email, mobile app, and website. This role focuses on storytelling and guest engagement across digital platforms while ensuring brand consistency and alignment with marketing objectives.

Key Accountabilities :

40% Social Media

  • Lead Pizza Ranch's social presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Threads and X, with emphasis on Facebook.
  • Develop monthly content calendars that align with brand promotions and initiatives.
  • Create 3–4 custom content pieces per week, including video shooting and editing, copywriting and artwork coordination.
  • Stay current with social media trends, platforms, and features to connect with a varied audience.
  • Coordinate image creation and manage paid social budgets, including targeting and optimization. Knowledge of Meta Business Suite preferred.
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages on brand social channels.
  • Train restaurant teams on social best practices, page management, and content creation.
  • Provide digital agency access for executing paid ad campaigns.

40% Email and App Marketing

  • Develop, manage, and deploy email campaigns, including templates, images, UTM tracking, calls-to-action, and copy for both triggered and custom sends.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team and vendors to identify new segmentation opportunities and optimize engagement workflows.
  • Analyze performance metrics, test content, and refine campaigns to drive conversions and minimize unsubscribes.
  • Partner with design and technical teams to coordinate content and campaign assets.
  • Manage campaign setup, testing, tagging, scheduling, and deployment.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of email marketing best practices and legal compliance.
  • Create and manage app push / pull messaging and carousel / interstitial ads.
  • Develop monthly geofencing campaigns and monitor performance.
  • 20% Pizzaranch.com Website Management

  • Oversee pizzaranch.com maintenance, updates, and feature enhancements.
  • Coordinate with agency on analytics, testing, and performance improvements.
  • Manage Google Tag Manager tracking and campaign-specific landing pages.
  • Coordinate digital imagery and content updates for promotions, menus, and local pages.
  • Maintain brand standards and functionality across third-party hosted sites.
  • Provide internal guidance on Craft CMS website tools and best practices.
  • Monitor SEO trends and collaborate with agencies to improve organic visibility.
  • Qualifications, Skills and / or Competencies :

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent editing and grammar skills.
  • Experience creating and editing social media video content.
  • Working knowledge of email marketing platforms, metrics, and best practices.
  • Experience with lead nurturing, marketing automation, and / or web analytics preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns.
  • Problem-solving skills and comfort troubleshooting technical issues with vendors.
  • Familiarity with graphic design concepts.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and aligned with company and restaurant goals.
