Responsibilities

Ascension Seton is looking for an NP or PA, FT, Women's Services / OB Triageto join our elite team!

As an NP / PA in Women's Services / OB Triage with Ascension, you will see and evaluate patients in the OB Triage setting for things to include : labor, preterm labor, rupture of membranes or any complications of pregnancy over 20 weeks gestation, illness, injury etc. You will be in charge of triaging patients based on acuity and greatest need and will be supported by the on-call physician for the patients' private practice or the team of OB residents. You will also be a part of teaching the Dell Seton interns how to adequately triage a patient, quickly and efficiently as one of their first year resident education goals. The goal of this service is to be able to identify in a timely manner if a patient needs hospital admission or discharge to home without occupying Labor and Antepartum rooms on the floor. You will also cross train to assist in Cesarean Sections.
