This position reports to the Kitchen Production Supervisor and is responsible for supporting the production of assigned products (BBQ, Sushi, and / or other cooked foods) based on received orders. Responsibilities include controlling quality, freshness, inventory, and wastage.

T&T Supermarkets has over 30 years of history as Canada's favorite Asian grocery store and is expanding into the United States with a new flagship store opening in Bellevue, Washington, in 2024. We also plan to establish a regional office in Los Angeles to grow our vendor relationships.

You Will

• Produce the correct quantity of assigned products based on orders received.
• Perform various production duties such as preparing perishable food items, rice cooking, cutting vegetables / meat / fish, stir-frying, deep frying, and pan frying.
• Control product quality, freshness, inventory levels, and wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and equipment and tools in the production area, following safety protocols.
• Assist in answering customer inquiries.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety practices, including Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
