Warehouse Engineer Hybrid Model (remotely & onsite)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, develop and propose business cases for material flow improvements to Branch Manager based in expertise knowledge of warehouse design, warehouse technology solutions, storage, picking and slotting methodologies
  • Actively look for material flow innovation and continuous improvements within designated Branch location and across warehouse Network
  • Conduct return on investment (ROI) analysis for procurement of tools & equipment resources, conduct time studies on logistics processes to calculate processing time, aiding in development of KPI and resources capacity planning
  • Review standard process deviations for local requirements in close cooperation with Branch Manager, logistics & MRO process managers
  • All other duties as assigned by management

  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in (Industrial) engineering or similar knowledge and skills required
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse engineering, or production facilities with exposure to lean principles and process improvement projects required
  • Fluency in English language required
  • Industrial engineering or other technical expertise in material flow layout design, lean methods, and project management required
  • Ability to complete courses up to and including "Lean Facilitator 2" at the LHT Lean Academy desirable
  • Ability to learn Visio
  • Willingness to travel
  • Manage constant time pressure
  • Manage high stress levels
  • Lift up to 70 lbs

  • Must be willing to work shifts
  • Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
