BESS Asset Manager

A company is looking for a BESS Asset Manager to oversee the lifecycle of its utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System portfolio across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of BESS assets, including O&M oversight and performance monitoring

Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Interface with key stakeholders, ensuring compliance and managing contractor relationships

Required Qualifications

5+ years in renewable energy asset management (solar, wind, or BESS)

Experience in utility-scale BESS or hybrid PV+BESS projects

Strong financial knowledge (P&L, tax equity structures, DSCR)

Familiarity with ERCOT or other U.S. ISOs (e.g., PJM, MISO, CAISO)

Proven ability to manage contractors and complex stakeholder environments
