Job description

Rebound is looking for a full time Medical Assistant to join our amazing Orthopedics team for both Oregon locations, Lake Oswego and Rose Quarter. The ideal candidate will possess great organizational skills and energy, a can-do attitude, a desire to learn the practice, and a collaborative team spirit. The candidate will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, a superior commitment to patient care, and the ability to work closely with patients and physicians.

Responsibilities :

  • Escort patients to exam room and assist in chart documentation.
  • Take vital signs and assist patients in patient flow through the clinic.
  • Prepare exam rooms and instruments for examination and testing. Stock supplies.
  • Assist physicians and APP's with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments as directed.
  • Check appointment schedule and assist call center with physician's patient schedule.
  • Ensure that lab reports, imaging and other information is available to providers.
  • Issue out-patient materials. Assist in application and patient instruction.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and abide by all HIPAA rules and regulations.

Required :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate from a Medical Assisting program.
  • One year of work experience, preferably in a clinic setting.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records preferred.
  • Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures.
  • Possess a strong desire for providing exceptional patient care.
