Security Officer - Logistics Access Point

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location in Carlisle, PA, you will help to deter security-related incidents by managing entry points, monitoring access, and conducting regular patrols. Your presence and attention to detail will support a secure environment for people and property. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication, reflecting our commitment to putting people first and operating with integrity. Monday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tuesday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Friday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Saturday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sunday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
  • Assist with visitor and vehicle management, including logging arrivals and departures as required by site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service by responding to questions and supporting employees, visitors, and guests with security-related procedures.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity by conducting regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding perimeter.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and location-specific protocols.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in a clear and timely manner as required by site guidelines.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, collaborating with local staff and Allied Universal leadership.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
