Dental Associates is seeking a dedicated part-time Dental Hygienist to join our Wauwatosa Burleigh team and provide exceptional care to our wonderful patients. This role offers flexible hours, with a consistent schedule of 8-16 hours per week, and full-time opportunities are also available. Job Responsibilities

• Provide a positive experience throughout the entire patient interaction; from contacting to greeting, seating and completing their in-clinic visit
• Exhibiting excellent customer service to create a positive patient experience and ensuring all treatment is provided with an awareness of individual patient's needs and concerns
• Comprehensive review of medical history and taking of vitals
• Gather assessment data on patients including vitals and medical history, x-rays,intra and extra oral cancer screening, existing teeth and restorations, comprehensive periodontal charting. Present findings to dentist upon exam.
• Treatment plan recommended procedures, as prescribed by the dentist and present the treatment plan to the patient.
• Completion of an intra and extra oral cancer screening
• Perform thorough routine cleanings and non-surgical periodontal therapy as prescribed by the dentist
• Assessment of caries risk and recommendations of preventative services, such and sealants and fluoride treatments, as prescribed by the dentist.
• Take radiographs and intraoral photos as prescribed by the dentist
• Operatory maintence following OSHA guidelines, including waterline and suction maintenance
