CVICU Nursing Job Details Location : Albany, NY 12208 (New York healthcare jobs) Unit : Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Assignment Type : Travel RN contract Start Date : November 23, 2025 End Date : February 22, 2026 Duration : 13-week travel nursing assignment Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100-$2250 Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs EMR System : Epic CVICU RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York State or compact; or willingness to obtain) 2-3 years of recent CVICU nursing experience Experience in a Level One Trauma Center required Clinical expertise with postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in the ICU Proficient in advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilators, a-lines, spinal drains, ECG interpretation, temporary pacemakers, and titration of vasoactive / inotropic drips Epic EMR experience required Ability to pass a clinical competency test within 24 hours of submission CVICU RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill cardiac and vascular surgery patients Monitor and manage advanced hemodynamic parameters and life-support equipment Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Interpret ECGs, manage temporary pacemakers, and titrate vasoactive and inotropic medications Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and adhere to hospital policies and procedures Apply now to join our healthcare team for this rewarding CVICU travel nursing job in Albany, NY!
