IT Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Infrastructure Engineer to support our IT infrastructure. This role will ensure the smooth operation of our network, servers, workstations, and software systems to support architectural design workflows, including CAD, BIM, and rendering applications. The ideal candidate will be able to troubleshoot technical issues, implement system updates, and maintain security protocols in a fast-paced office environment. This position is remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux & Windows servers as well as Windows workstations.
• Manage and maintain International WAN, LAN and Wi-Fi infrastructures.
• Install, configure, and support hardware, software, and applications commonly used in architectural design (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Monitor system performance and perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Implement and maintain IT security policies, backups, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Assist staff with IT support requests, ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Maintain documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
• Occasional travel to offices as needed.
