The Digital Content Manager will report to the Executive Director of Advertising & Communication and work with Marketing leadership to plan, design, and execute cohesive strategies, creation, and deployment for all digital channels, including web, social, and email. This role will manage a team that assists with all web and social content, collaborate with the Media Buyer on digital advertising content, gather analytics, and implement and evolve SEM / SEO. The individual will lead a cohesive social media and web marketing strategy and manage multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines within Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Work with Advertising and Direct Mail to execute email campaigns for new and existing customers in both retail and database markets.
- Execute, measure and report on email campaign efficacy across all Seneca Gaming Corporation brands.
- Identify and report on campaigns that drive guest retention and loyalty based on best practices.
- Create journeys and journey mapping, analyzing touchpoints and leveraging cross-marketing and upsell strategies.
- Deploy testing strategies for all email campaigns and report on the most effective approach.
- Create and deliver email-reporting analyses, with opportunistic recommendations to marketing leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership in the design for all email campaigns.
- Work within a Content Management System for website updates.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure websites are updated with current information and refreshed creative.
- Manage social media and web team.
- Plan, implement and conduct research of SEO to run effective campaigns and optimize the company’s website, social media and other content efforts.
- Strategize with the Media Buyer to optimize search engine marketing.
- Adhere to Purchasing, HR, and TERO compliance requirements.
- Promote positive public relations.
- Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
- Must complete all required training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.

Qualifications / Requirements
Education / Experience :
Must be 21 years of age or older upon employment.Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or relevant marketing degree is required.Must have a minimum five (5) years of experience in email marketing.Must have proven experience in developing and implementing SEM / SEO campaigns.Knowledge and understanding of CMS, CRS and e-mail marketing required. Salesforce and Marketing Cloud is a plus.Google Analytics certification is a plus.Must have experience leading teams in a collaborative environment.Experience in executing email and online marketing campaigns.Must have experience and an advanced working knowledge of HTML.Must have experience and working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver.Must have experience with creating, deploying, and reporting on email campaigns.Must be proficient with web and app platforms.Proficiency with Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on Word and Excel is required.Must be able to communicate strategies effectively, both in writing and verbally.Must be highly creative, outgoing team player, and able to work well at a high pace under tight deadlines.Must have a proven ability to work effectively with little guidance in a single or team environment.Will be required to work some evenings and weekends, so scheduling flexibility and dependability are required.Language Skills and Reasoning Ability
Must possess excellent communications skills.Must have the ability to write and speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees.Must have the ability to resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically within the guidelines of the Interactive Marketing position.Physical Requirements and Work Environment
The work environment is moderate to loud; casino floor may be louder. Must be able to work in environments where smoking is permitted.Must be able to stand, walk and move through all areas of the casino for extended periods.Must have excellent hearing abilities.Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees and members of the business community.Must be able to sit and operate a computer for an extended period.Salary Starting Rate
$68,697.18
Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
Each position has varying minimum qualifications. In the absence of fully qualified candidates, some requirements may be waived.
