Job Summary : The Director of Safety Operations is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all organizational safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe, compliant, and proactive working environment across all Hoskinson Contracting job sites and facilities. This position provides strategic leadership in safety culture development, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, training programs, and incident response. The Director of Safety Operations partners closely with field leadership, project teams, and executive management to drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with company goals, values, and operational standards.

Supervises : Safety Managers, Safety Coordinators

Supervisory Responsibilities :

• Provide leadership, direction, and development for the safety team.
• Oversee safety program execution and ensure consistent application across all worksites.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching, training, and corrective action as needed.
• Ensure safety operations comply with OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and other federal / state regulations.
• Collaborate with project leadership to implement safe work practices and hazard controls.
• Guide staff through incident response, investigations, and corrective action planning.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all safety-related matters.
