Description

A global investment company is hiring a Vendor Master Data Management Lead to own supplier data across its ERP and source-to-pay ecosystem. You will set the standards for how vendor records are structured, validated, onboarded, and governed, and you will guide two analysts who support day-to-day quality and operations.

Success looks like higher data accuracy, faster and cleaner onboarding, fewer duplicates, better compliance signals, and automated workflows that reduce manual touches across Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Risk.

What You'll Tackle

• Define and enforce naming conventions, categorizations, and validation rules for vendor data
• Maintain and improve vendor master within ERP, coordinating closely with AP and Procurement
• Lead vendor onboarding workflows and SLAs; track status and remove bottlenecks
• Run regular quality audits; remediate duplicates and incomplete records
• Build reports that show data quality, compliance, and onboarding throughput
• Partner with Risk / Security on screenings and required documentation
• Automate routine steps in onboarding and maintenance to cut cycle time
