Director of Education Job Responsibilities:
- Program Development & Delivery:
Assist in the design, implementation, and delivery of training programs to ensure high-quality education aligned with current industry standards and organizational needs. - Companywide Travel & On-Site Instruction:
Conduct in-person training sessions, workshops, and skills checkoffs at various facility locations across the U.S.; up to 75% travel is possible. - Instructor Support & Development:
Provide coaching, mentorship, and development support to maintain instructional excellence and promote consistency, engagement, and excellence. - Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that training content and delivery methods meet applicable standards, regulatory guidelines, and accreditation requirements. - Strategic Growth of Educational Programs:
Identify opportunities for expanding and improving educational offerings to enhance staff development and promote engagement with ongoing learning. - Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with facility leadership and organizational stakeholders to align training initiatives with strategic goals and workforce development priorities. - Technology Integration & Innovation:
Leverage digital learning tools, including learning management systems (e.g., Relias), and incorporate innovative instructional methods to improve learning experiences and accessibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing. RN in good standing required.
- 5+ years of experience in education, training, or curriculum development.
- Extensive background in long term care/SNF facilities.
- Experience with responsibilities in program management and instructional oversight.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and accreditation processes for SNF/LTC.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and educational technologies.
- RAMPS (Relias Administrator Certification)
Preferred Qualifications and Locations:
- Experience in healthcare education or workforce training.
- CPR Instructor Certification (Red Cross)
- Knowledge of state and federal education regulations for long term care/SNF.
- Our ideal candidate will be located in VA, TN, or KY.
Salary/ Wage Range
