VP Of Sales
Our client seeks a hands-on VP of Sales to lead revenue growth from their Tysons, Virginia office. This is a hybrid player-coach role requiring in-office presence three days per week, ideal for a proven enterprise sales leader with cybersecurity or data privacy experience. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of SaaS sales experience, has sold successfully to CISOs and security executives at enterprise organizations, and possesses the hands-on mentality needed to build a high-performing team. What You'll Do :
- Scale the sales organization during hyper-growth stage, driving sales cycles with enterprise accounts and Fortune 1000 organizations
- Actively participate in complex negotiations and close high-value deals (200K+ ARR) with C-suite executives (CIOs, CISOs, Chief Privacy Officers)
- Monitor individual and team sales targets, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations
- Hire, mentor, and develop BDR and AE teams to support growth targets
- Provide hands-on coaching and foster a high-performance, coachable culture
- Improve and implement scalable sales processes and playbooks for enterprise cybersecurity / privacy sales
- Develop and execute strategies to scale revenue in the enterprise data privacy and security market
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities in the cybersecurity / identity management space
- Build and maintain relationships with key enterprise clients and strategic partners
- Create and manage accurate sales forecasts and budgets
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams
What You Bring :
10+ years of B2B SaaS product sales experience, with 3+ years of sales team management experience in cybersecurity, security, identity management, data management, or data privacy industriesConsistent history of meeting and exceeding quotas throughout career, with demonstrated success in complex sales cycles with Fortune 1000 enterprisesExtensive experience selling to CISOs, VPs / Directors of Security, CIOs, and Chief Privacy OfficersProfessional presence with strong personal brand (LinkedIn, industry engagement)Based in VA / MD / DC area OR willingness to relocate to the Virginia region (company-paid relocation assistance available if needed)Commitment to hybrid work with in-office presence in Tysons, VA three days per weekBachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. institution; MBA preferredPlayer-coach mentality : leading through doing rather than just directingLow-ego approach, open to feedback and continuous improvementHands-on technical credibility; able to speak the language of security and privacy professionalsStrong work ethic, honesty, and transparencyWhy Join?
