The client are a brilliant, global energy company with an annual revenue of over $2 billion. The business continues to grow and is looking to hire a few additional heads to the team to manage the increased workload. The role will report directly into the Global Controller and the role will oversee the management / consolidation of over 200 different global entities. The company really push internal growth and are looking for a new candidate to join this exciting new team!

Job Description

The successful Accounting Manager will :

• Management of the financial close process
• Review the journal entries, reconciliations, and support schedules for multiple legal entities
• Inter-company reconciliations, returns and reporting
• Monthly variance analysis (Actual vs Budget analysis)
• Budgeting and Forecasting, alongside the financial planning team
• Process improvement
• Support the internal and external reporting, assist with audit
• Oversee analysts responsible for treasury-related accounting, including cash, investments, and related reconciliations
• Line management of 2-3 Analysts
• Inventory management
