General Labor Opportunity

Surestaff is immediately hiring for General Labor in Pleasant Prairie, WI. As a General Labor for Surestaff, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations. Surestaff is invested in their team members! All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation ($16.50 / hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include :

Mon-Fri (8am-6 : 30pm)

Mon-Thurs (8am-4 : 30pm)

Mon-Thurs (8sm-6 : 30pm)

Mon-Fri (8am-4 : 30pm)

Responsibilities of the General Labor :

  • Inventory organization and maintenance.
  • Enter data in SAP programs.
  • Process, package, and ship orders accurately.
  • Load and unload pallets. Scan items into inventory control system using RF Scanner.
  • Safely & efficiently use warehouse equipment including pallet jack, hydraulic jack, RF Scanner, computers, and handheld printers.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions.
  • Insect inventory for defects and damages.

Required Qualifications of the General Labor :

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse experience and / or training preferred.
  • High attention to detail and safety / compliance.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
  • Ability to lift / push / pull up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
