Job Details Location : Montana Start Date : Nov 17, 2025 LOA : 60 days Provider Type Needed : Family Nurse Practitioner Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with on-call requirements Responsibilities and Duties Provide primary medical care during scheduled clinic times, unscheduled visits, and on-call after hours. Perform initial and yearly physical examinations of extended care patients. Handle the evaluation and treatment of patients with complex medical and psychiatric issues. Offer expert medical consultation to attending psychiatrists and nursing staff. Complete required documentation and reports in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Provide medical clinic leadership as directed by the Medical Director. Consult with a range of professionals to make informed patient care decisions. Participate in treatment team functions and hospital committees as needed. Engage in continuing education and training for staff. Additional Information Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Montana. Experience in state hospital settings, particularly with psychiatric patient care, is essential.
