The US Regional Global Supply Management Sourcing (Procurement) team is looking for a candidate that has excellent data analytics skills and communication skills. This person will lead a project to identify, develop, and execute cost savings projects & alternative sourcing initiatives within our existing supply base. Additionally, they will work with the US Regional GSM Sourcing team to support additional projects in process during their internship, streamlining processes, creating standardized reports and / or improving efficiency.

Essential Responsibilities Include :

  • Work with GSM US Regional Sourcing team to support analytics, sourcing projects and cost savings initiatives.
  • Analyze data using statistical and reporting tools, such as Excel and PowerBI.
  • Participate in supplier interactions on new cost savings opportunities.
  • Document business process improvements and workflows.

Other Responsibilities :

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Education At least a sophomore at the time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, Business or related field.
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience.
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
  • Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning & organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Teams for collaboration, MS SharePoint, and PowerBI.
  • Demonstrates advanced analytical abilities, effective research and professional networking skills, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • The exact salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
