We are seeking a detail-oriented and business-minded Financial Analyst with strong expertise in BI tools and a background in manufacturing or distribution. This role plays a key part in supporting financial planning, performance analysis, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze trends, evaluate profitability, support budgets and forecasts, and develop reporting that drives operational and financial improvements.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance, including revenue, gross margin, COGS, product mix, and operating results.
- Prepare monthly reporting packages and dashboards using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
- Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to evaluate cost drivers and operational KPIs.
- Develop and enhance financial models to support pricing, sales trends, and profitability analysis.
- Support variance analysis, identifying risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
- Assist in standardizing reporting processes and improving data quality and accessibility.
- Participate in strategic projects, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.3+ years of financial analysis or FP&A experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar).Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling).Strong understanding of cost analysis, COGS, supply chain metrics, and gross margin drivers.Ability to interpret complex data and present insights clearly to leadership teams.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with competing priorities.Preferred Qualifications
