About the Role :

As a Maintenance Technician for our property management company, you'll be a go-to problem-solver across our residential properties. You'll work with self-direction and purpose, navigating a wide range of repair needs while communicating clearly with tenants and team members. Each day is different — but every task matters.

What You'll Do :

• Knock out daily resident work orders and close them out with clear notes and pictures.
• Perform hands-on repairs : electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, drywall, and more.
• Approach problems with a practical, solutions-first mindset.
• Manage your workload proactively, prioritizing what's urgent while keeping everything moving forward.
• Work across Lake, Porter and LaPorte County Indiana.

Requirements :

2+ years of experience in maintenance, handyman work, or contracting.

Confidence and competence in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and welding.

Your own set of basic tools, a reliable vehicle, and a drive to do things right.

Professionalism, communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach.

Bilingual in Spanish? That's a strong plus!

Reliable Transportation & Valid drivers license

The Details :

Pay starts at $18 / hour +, depending on experience.

Full-time work, year-round — steady schedule, consistent projects.

This position is independent : you'll need your own tools and reliable transportation.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
