Perform technical nuclear medicine exams accurately and in a timely fashionOperate nuclear medicine equipment and radiation detecting equipmentTransfer and position patients correctly for examinations while providing a safe environmentPerform and document quality control on all equipment to ensure calibration and regulatory compliancePrepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and contrast materialsMaintain accurate records of radioisotope shipping, receiving, use, storage, and disposal per NRC and DEQ policiesDocument room surveys, wipe tests, and bioassaysSchedule exams, verify physician orders, and send documentation to medical recordsMaintain cleanliness and orderliness of rooms and equipmentStock supplies and linen as neededCross-train in other department technologies as requiredWork directly with patients, internal and external customers, and healthcare professionalsMinimum 6 months of related experience requiredMust have minimum 5 years' experience, PET experience, and Siemens equipment experienceProficiency with Epic, Microsoft Word, and Excel requiredGraduate from AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program requiredCNMT certification or ARRT (N) license requiredCPR certification requiredExcellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills neededStrong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills requiredFacility :
