Locums – CRNA – Fairbanks, Alaska (Willing to License)

Start : January 19, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Practice / Schedule Details :

Procedures begin at 7 : 30am — provider must be onsite by 7 : 00am

1–2 CRNAs needed

Ambulatory Surgery Center – no high-acuity hospital cases

Cases : General surgery, hernias, eyes, ears, sinus, general ortho, colonoscopies

No urology

Occasional OT (time + half after 40 hrs / week or 8 hrs / day)

Housing : Surgery center physicians own a 3-bedroom duplex onsite; housing or travel provided

Skills / Block Requirements :

Comfortable working independently

Proficient with nerve blocks

Common blocks performed :

Interscalene (primary)

Supraclavicular, Infraclavicular, Axillary (occasional)

Adductor Canal, Genicular, PENG, Popliteal

TAP blocks (occasional)

Ability to place interscalene and adductor canal catheters

Volume :

~2,800 cases annually (daily varies)

Licensing :

Active Alaska CRNA license required OR willing to license
