Job Summary and Responsibilities

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Imaging Tech II / CT Scanner Technician to join our dynamic medical imaging team. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical interpretation. • Perform CT scans on patients according to physician orders.
• Monitor patients for any adverse reactions and respond promptly.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to obtain relevant clinical information for accurate image interpretation.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Document and record patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system
