A high-acuity Level III trauma hospital in Detroit, MI is seeking a locum CRNA for weekday coverage. This is a great opportunity to step into a fast-paced surgical setting and work alongside a skilled, collaborative team.

Assignment Overview :

📆 Start : As soon as credentialed

⏰ Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM

📋 EMR : Cerner

🩺 Supervision Model : CRNA works under supervision

📍 Setting : Hospital-based — NOT affiliated with surgical centers

📅 Contract Length : 3 months with option to extend

🕒 Credentialing : Estimated 90–120 days

Case Mix :

🔹 Surgical Cases per Day : 7–20

🔹 Pain Management Cases per Day : 0–10

🔹 Patient Population : Pediatric to geriatric (excluding neonates)

🔹 Team Includes : Surgeon, CRNA, supervising MDA, RN, scrub tech, + occasional first assist or resident

🔹 Required / Preferred Experience :

General surgery (adult & pediatric)

Plastic (IV sedation)

Robotic

ENT

Ortho

Podiatry

Requirements :

✅ Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA)

✅ Active Michigan license

✅ Clean background and malpractice history

✅ ACLS & BLS (AHA only)

✅ Willingness to take on pediatric cases

✅ Local providers strongly preferred
