Electrical Engineering Lead

Overview

CACI International Inc. has an immediate opening for Electrical Engineering Group Lead located in Dulles, VA. The Electrical Engineering Group Lead will supervise and mentor a team of 6 Electrical Engineers that design electrical products and complex systems. This position will oversee and be involved in all phases of product development including schematic capture, PCB layout and firmware development for complex electronic assemblies. We operate in a fast-paced, highly technical R&D environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quote estimates for labor hours for RFQs, RFIs, and projects.
• Provide scheduling for engineering resources to complete tasks as requested by the customer or program leads.
• Develop and mentor Jr. Engineers.
• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain products; assist in commercialization.
• Build prototypes, products, and systems for testing; set up and run laboratory simulations.
• Design testing procedures and coordinate testing. Conduct tests, document results, and develop client presentation.
• Conduct and / or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, codes, and other artifacts.
• Identify and keep abreast of novel technical concepts and markets.
• Contribute to design standards and support design reuse.
• Author technical reports, papers, articles, presentations, and patents.
• Take a system design through component selection, system drawings and documentation, and integration and test.
• Create test plans to validate a system meets design requirements.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to garner knowledge of products for integration.
• Assisting with planning, conducting, and evaluating approaches to meet project objectives in a timely, cost-effective fashion.

Pay Range

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is : $120,800 - $265,800
