Job Title : Adjunct Faculty, Developmental Math
Location : LSC-Kingwood, Atascocita Center
Employment Type : Part-Time (Adjunct, seasonal as needed); Regular scheduling with multiple class times including day, evening, and weekend options.

Purpose and Scope
The teaching faculty are responsible for providing learning activities and support to achieve course objectives and contribute to the educational environment of the college and community. Primary responsibilities include planning, developing, and teaching courses within the curriculum to facilitate student learning.
Essential Job Functions
- Teaches Developmental Math courses at a variety of times and locations
- Creates engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
- Submits required college reports and forms in a timely manner
- Utilizes a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
- Meets with and advises students before / after class or by appointment, via electronic communication or other appropriate methods
- Evaluates students to measure progress and informs students of their progress in a timely manner
- Maintains professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
- Attends meetings, trainings, and orientations as required
- Other reasonable related duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree or higher with a minimum of 12 undergraduate hours in mathematics or statisticsSalary and Benefits
Salary : $55.44 per contact hour
