Job Description

We are currently seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join a high-volume combo pharmacy that includes retail (drive-thru and vaccines), long-term care (bubble packs, mail order), and compounding services (sterile injections and other medications).

Pharmacists will be responsible for all functions except sterile compounding. This is a very hands-on role as the only pharmacist on duty, supported by a team of 810 technicians.

Schedule (flexible options available) :

  • 7 on / 7 off 11-hour shifts, 8 : 00am7 : 00pm (SunSat)
  • 4x10s 8 : 00am6 : 00pm (MonThu)
  • 5x8s 8 : 00am4 : 30pm (MonFri)

Responsibilities :

  • Verify and review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety
  • Prepare and pack non-sterile medications as needed (technicians will assist)
  • Administer vaccines
  • Assist with register, drive-thru, and prescription entry
  • Ensure compliance with state / federal regulations and compounding standards
  • Oversee pharmacy technicians and maintain proper workflow

    • Requirements :

  • Montana Pharmacist License (active / clear; pending accepted but client will not cover cost)
  • BLS Certification required
  • Immunization Certification required
  • 1+ years retail pharmacy experience (strong new grads welcome)
  • Liberty software experience preferred (will train)
  • High-volume pharmacy experience strongly preferred

    Housing and mileage are a pass-through, billed directly to client.
