Operations Specialist II

Job Summary The Operations Specialist II is a mid-level role responsible for managing insurance compliance for a designated portfolio of commercial mortgage loans. This position requires independent analysis of insurance documents, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and oversight of escrow disbursements and casualty loss claims.

Essential Functions

• Analyze insurance policies, appraisals, and operating statements for compliance
• Maintain accurate insurance data in the servicing system
• Manage escrow disbursements and force-placed insurance processes
• Ensure adequate insurance coverage for non-escrowed loans
• Administer casualty loss claims, including inspections and disbursements
• Communicate with borrowers, agents, and insurers to resolve issues
• Collaborate with internal departments to address discrepancies
• Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and / or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
• Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key.
