Salary : $70-$85 Hourly

The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County is seeking a passionate and qualified Intensive In-Community (IIC) Mental Health Therapist to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Counseling Services, this in-home / community-based role plays a key part in delivering high-quality psychotherapeutic interventions to children and adolescents.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide in-home / community counseling (IIC) to children and adolescents with emotional and / or behavioral needs
  • Conduct clinical assessments and psychosocial histories to determine individual and family needs
  • Collaborate with clients and families to develop attainable goals and treatment plans
  • Develop crisis safety plans with clients and families to support their well-being
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and complete all required documentation in a timely manner
  • Assist clients in accessing community resources and support systems
  • Collaborate and consult with other providers to ensure holistic, coordinated care
  • Participate in community outreach activities within Monmouth County to raise awareness of the outpatient program
  • Complete required trainings to maintain compliance with agency and state regulations

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in a recognized mental health discipline
  • Current licensure or certification (LCSW, LPC, LSW, or LAC)
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Additional Details :

  • Free clinical supervision toward licensure is available for staff carrying a caseload of four or more clients
  • Flexible scheduling to meet family needs
  • This position focuses on serving youth
