Regional Sales Manager

You, Regional Sales Manager, are responsible for managing sales of X-Rite's CPM (Consumer Products and Materials) solutions in Great Lakes region to drive growth in the territory in a variety of segments including plastics, coatings, textile, and automotive industries.

The critical roles and responsibilities include :

  • Growth in territory using the land expand and upgrade approach ie develop strategies for acquiring new accounts, expansion in existing accounts and defending the current install base.
  • Territory Planning : Segment customers and develop specific strategies for each customer segment for sustainable growth
  • Prospecting : Identify and call on prospective customers, provide technical expertise, product information and demonstrations to nurture potential customers.
  • Value Selling : Identify and interpret customer needs and answer questions to assist in the selection, application, and operation to provide the best solution of color measurement
  • Forecasting and Funnel Management : Regularly update CRM to maintain an accurate funnel and monthly forecast. Follow funnel management standard work and update customer records and profiles as per the ongoing commercial initiatives.
  • Trends : Support Marketing and Product Management by providing solid market intelligence, forecasting future customer buying activity and industry trends.
  • Attend and support X-Rite national and regional industry trade shows
  • The expected travel requirement is approximately 60% of the time (within territory).

The essential requirements of the job include :

  • BS or BA degree in business, electrical, mechanical, color science or other technical fields with two to five years sales experience.
  • Direct selling experience in a business-to-business environment
  • Experience with salesforce.com and other tools to update opportunities, customer records and profiles as well as sales activities.
  • Based in the Mid West / Great Lakes region.

    US ONLY : The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

    The compensation range for this role is $95,000 - $100,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Commission Pay.
