Facility : Critical Access Hospital – OB / Labor & Delivery Unit

Contract Length : 13 weeks (option to extend)

Start Date : November 17, 2025

Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00), 36 hours / week

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2200 - $2360

Unit Details : 2 nurses per shift, 300 deliveries / year, OB nurses provide postpartum care

EMR System : Cerner

Scrubs : Any color (not provided)

Housing : Local recommendations available

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

Active Registered Nurse license (Washington state preferred)

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

AWHONN Intermediate certification

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Proficiency with Cerner charting system

References : 2 years in Labor & Delivery specialty

COVID-19 vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a Level IV trauma, critical access setting

Conduct newborn assessments and provide postpartum care

Administer medications, vaccines, and IV therapy

Assist with vaginal deliveries and support the LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) model

Implement isolation precautions and proper PPE usage

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Interpretation Services

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Cerner EMR

Participate in block scheduling, including weekend shifts
