Delivery Operator (Winder) Needed for First Shift – Textile Manufacturing - Insight Textiles

We are seeking a Delivery Operator to join our team in Stuart, VA. You will wind fabric onto beams, trucks, or flat fold into cabs to meet standards and customer requirements. Also, to produce a first-quality product as safe and efficient as possible.

More specifically, you will :

• Receive information and papers from operator (information such as style, lot to be run).
• Check S.O.P. for proper instruction (count, width, trim or split and whether to load beam, truck or cab).
• Adjust knives to proper depth, adjust truck or beam tension to proper settings and adjust trackion rollers.
• Inspect fabric continuous for defects and bad quality, record and notify operator. Keep good communication to operator on count and how fabric is running.
• Do weekly maintenance and keep equipment clean.
• Observe all safety rules.

Must have Forklift License in order to operate an industrial Forklift.

We offer :

First Shift : 7 : 00 am—3 : 00 pm Monday through Friday

Rate of Pay : $15.75 / hour

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Associate must have 20 / 20 vision or 20 / 20 corrected vision.
