Trade Shows Manager
As a Trade Shows Manager, you will lead the strategy and execution of the trade show program and associated customer events, tours, and engagements for multiple Business Units within the Instruments Division. This is a remote position within the US. You will be required to travel 30% of the time.
What You Will Do :
- Manage the execution and logistics of trade shows to achieve business objectives.
- Assists Marketing in determining which trade shows are strategically critical, each trade show's focus, and who should attend the show.
- Produce trade shows ensuring consistency and collaboration while following established guidelines, processes, procedures, and tools. Educate cross-functional teams, provide direction and establish solutions where appropriate.
- Develops and manages a comprehensive event project plan for all setup tasks, product needs, collateral, bookings, and other details.
- Approves the design, layout, cost, and construction of exhibits.
- Negotiate with vendors and service providers for best arrangements within budget.
- Maintain and build relationships with Instruments industry and trade associations.
- Create pre-show briefing documents and run pre-show business meetings.
- Conduct and communicate post-show analysis, including metrics. May assist in developing tracking and measurement tools and processes.
- Facilitate the lead tracking software and process onsite.
- Manages the coordination of VIP tours, customer events, and engagements, delegating where appropriate to other team members.
- Recognize opportunities to sponsor conference sessions that align with marketing goals.
- Identify and investigate new trade show marketing opportunities based on business priorities and goals.
Required :
Bachelor's degree8+ years of work experience4+ years of work experience in marketing, communications, or related field3+ years of work experience in trade showsExperience in project managementPreferred :
Medical Device industry experienceExperience in a highly regulated matrix organizationExperience in collaboration to create strategies and ensure plans of action are implementedMay be required to move equipment up to 50 pounds, reach, push, or pull in order to accomplish job accountabilitiesExperience as a problem solver with a creative approach to proactive identification and resolution of issuesExcellent client relations and customer service skillsExperience managing large budgetsSalary : $87,000-$186,700 plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
