Fairway Lawns is a Morgan Stanley Capital Partners portfolio company and a leading provider of residential lawncare services, including weed control and fertilization, in addition to complementary services including irrigation, pest control and tree and shrub maintenance.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy HR Administrative Contractor to support our Human Resources department. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong working knowledge of HR processes and best practices, is proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office, and can confidently navigate applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other internal platforms.

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations, maintaining accurate employee records, and supporting various HR functions including onboarding, data entry, compliance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform general HR administrative tasks including data entry, document management, and file maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including accurate completion and tracking of I-9 forms and E-Verify.
  • Assist with the onboarding processes.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and ATS platforms.
  • Generate reports and maintain tracking spreadsheets in Excel with a high level of accuracy.
  • Assist in sending offer letters and coordinating pre-employment screenings through third-party vendor portals.
  • Provide support for audits, both internal and external, by organizing and submitting required documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and ensure data security protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to support HR initiatives and administrative projects as needed.

Requirements : Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in an HR administrative or support role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience using HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Familiarity with employment law and HR compliance requirements (e.g., I-9, E-Verify, recordkeeping).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
