Fairway Lawns is a Morgan Stanley Capital Partners portfolio company and a leading provider of residential lawncare services, including weed control and fertilization, in addition to complementary services including irrigation, pest control and tree and shrub maintenance.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy HR Administrative Contractor to support our Human Resources department. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong working knowledge of HR processes and best practices, is proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office, and can confidently navigate applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other internal platforms.
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations, maintaining accurate employee records, and supporting various HR functions including onboarding, data entry, compliance, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform general HR administrative tasks including data entry, document management, and file maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including accurate completion and tracking of I-9 forms and E-Verify.
- Assist with the onboarding processes.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and ATS platforms.
- Generate reports and maintain tracking spreadsheets in Excel with a high level of accuracy.
- Assist in sending offer letters and coordinating pre-employment screenings through third-party vendor portals.
- Provide support for audits, both internal and external, by organizing and submitting required documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and ensure data security protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with HR team members to support HR initiatives and administrative projects as needed.

Proven experience in an HR administrative or support role.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelExperience using HRIS and Applicant Tracking SystemsFamiliarity with employment law and HR compliance requirements (e.g., I-9, E-Verify, recordkeeping).Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
