Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Lillington, NC 27546 – North Carolina nursing jobs

Facility : Short-term acute care hospital, 2 East Med / Surg Telemetry Unit

Assignment Type : Travel RN contract

Start Date : December 15, 2025

End Date : March 16, 2026

Duration : 13-week nursing contract

Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680 - $1720 per week

Patient Ratios : 1 : 5-6

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Charting System : Epic EMR

Guaranteed Hours : All contracted hours guaranteed after facility call-off policy is met

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience

Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Proficiency with Epic charting system

Ability to float within hospital and to sister campus as needed

Willingness to work every other weekend

Not accepting local candidates within a 50-mile radius

Advanced EKG exam required for compliance

Preferred : Previous charge nurse, community hospital, LTAC, and trauma experience

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Provide safe and effective nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med / Surg Telemetry setting

Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, manage dysrhythmias

Administer medications, blood products, and manage IVs, central lines, and PICC lines

Perform wound care, tracheostomy care, and post-surgical management

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and radiology

Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR

Float to similar units or sister hospital as needed

Participate in rapid response / code teams and utilize isolation precautions
