HD Electric, located in Las Vegas NV, is looking for skilled journeyman electricians to join our growing team. Candidates will be responsible for installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, control equipment, and have a basic knowledge in solar photovoltaic systems, stationary energy storage systems, electric metering, and electric vehicle charging equipment installs and maintenance in both residential and commercial sites. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be a self-starter and display extreme attention to details.

Responsibilities :

o   Install, maintain, and repair existing equipment and systems.

o   Determine conditions of electrical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and identify needed repairs.

o   Create detailed materials and quantities lists needed for new installations and repair projects.

o   Follow established processes and procedures.

o   Operate with safety as a primary concern for self, co-workers, and clients.

o   Basic knowledge in solar photovoltaic systems, stationary energy storage systems, electric metering, and electric vehicle charging systems.

Successful Candidate’s Attributes :

o   Familiarity with 2017 NEC Code and local codes

o   Professional appearance and personality

o   Must maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate both team work and an ability to work independently

o   Solid organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to make sound prioritization decisions and the ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments.

o   Physically capable to lift heavy objects safely and responsibly

o   Clean driving record and valid Nevada Driver’s License

o   Valid Nevada Electrical Journeyman license

o   High school diploma or GED
