As a GTS Corporate Applications Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the operations and development needs for the Company's Corporate Audit, Sanctions, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Legal, and Vendor Management applications. This includes providing technical direction and leadership for application development and support teams, including guidance of offshore teams and external consultants as needed. This role will act as the primary technical lead for Corporate Audit, Sanctions, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Legal, and Vendor Management departments and users.
How You'll Make An Impact
Collaborate with Corporate Audit, Sanctions, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Legal, and Vendor Management to support and maintain application operational excellence.
Manage the implementation, development, upgrade, and deployment of applications in a cost-effective manner as defined by technology roadmap and program prioritization.
Demonstrate clear functional and technical understanding of applications and interfaces with other systems.
Review and manage resources to meet application and project priorities.
Mentor, train, and develop resources to achieve individual, team, and application portfolio success.
Provide detailed direction and coordination to administration, applications development and support teams - offshore (India).
Document user stories and bug fixes, leveraging Azure Dev Ops, to ensure offshore team can develop and implement updates.
Manage incidents, work orders, and change requests per SLAs for application portfolio.
Understand, communicate, and mitigate technical environment risks and issues with users.
Monitor application performance and work with infrastructure teams to resolve issues as needed.
Carry out duties in accordance with internal policies, procedures, applicable laws, regulations, and Gallagher's shared values.
Provide status reporting to management (IT and users), project management and operations.
About You
Proficient technical knowledge of Corporate Applications, specifically Audit, Sanctions, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Legal, and Vendor Management functions.
Proven experience working with cloud-based applications.
Experience working in large enterprises with domestic and international locations.
5+ years experience managing employees.
Experience with offshore or remote development / support teams and resources.
Strong user and client relationship management skills.
Excellent written and oral communications, strong organizational and analysis skills.
Proficient experience Excel.
Able to excel in fast paced, high demand environment.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
Proficient experience writing SQL queries is a plus.
