Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience. Minimum three years of experience in lending required. Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or client complaints. Present a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental members, and external representatives. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to retain broad knowledge of lending tasks. Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of lending operations and client needs. Accurate typing / keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail. Job Title : AVP & Loan Officer II
Department : Commercial Loan Center I (HQ Office or OC Satellite Office)
We are looking for AVP & Loan Officer II to join our Commercial Loan Center I (CLC I) team. The AVP & Loan Officer II will be responsible for the underwriting, documentation, processing, and maintenance of lending products and loan files.
Key Responsibilities :
- Underwrite commercial loan products following the bank's loan policy and procedures, and general prudent lending practices.
- Interview applicants for new loans and discuss loan products and requirements.
- Site visitations to new and existing borrowers.
- Work closely with entry level loan officers and demonstrate how to process applications and assess potential risk factors.
- Maintains high level of awareness in the areas of regulatory compliance, loss prevention, security matters and adherence to the Bank's policies and procedures.
- Provide quality service to all clients and potential clients of the Bank.
