Responsibilities Work in the Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in a hospital setting Provides care to pediatric patients with complex cardiac conditions Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, three days per week No locals allowed; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility Provide and document nursing care for assigned pediatric cardiac ICU patients Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and assist with diagnostic procedures Interact with families to communicate care plans and discharge instructions Work collaboratively with physicians and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care Must be able to complete background check and drug screen in a timely manner Extension beyond 26 weeks requires a 6-month break before reapplying for another contract Requirements Active RN license from Oklahoma or compact state (eNLC) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program required Minimum of one year of RN experience in pediatric critical care Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630564.
