Overview
The Town of Vail is hiring a Sweeper Operator / Maintenance Technician to join the Facility Maintenance Department. This position will assist mechanical maintenance workers in providing clean, functional, and well-maintained facilities and related systems through the performance of the following duties.

Work is performed in a variety of environments, both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to weather conditions. Exposure to fumes, dust, and noise may be constant. Working from a ladder may be required. The duties are physically demanding and require the full range of body movements including lifting up to 75 lbs, standing, stooping, kneeling, and bending for an entire shift.
Schedule
Work schedule may require nights, early mornings, holidays, and weekends. Hours vary by season. Summer (day shift Mon-Thu 6am to 4 : 30pm) and Winter (night shift Mon-Thu 7pm to 5am).
