Job Summary :

This position is located at the Milliken Cushman site in Williamston, SC and reports to Engineering. This position is r esponsible for maintaining the plant production equipment and auxiliary equipment (including material handling, pumps, motors, air compressors, boilers, & chillers) at or above expected physical condition so as to produce high quality products on schedule, keeping required maintenance records and schedules and needed parts and supplies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical / electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies drives, gages and test equipment
• Reinstall guards and safety equipment correctly after completion of any work
• Ensure D.C. / A.C. motors, breakers and other equipment switches are in good working order.
• Read electrical drawings and ensure electrical components of machinery are operating properly.
• Assist other engineering associates to perform work as required to keep production machinery and auxiliary equipment in working order.
• Inform appropriate management and maintenance / production associates of potential electrical / mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved.
• Assist Maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting
• Demonstrate a high level of safety consciousness and fully participate in the Milliken Safety Process
