• We are hiring immediately for a full time COOK position.
• Location : Novant Health Matthews Medical Center - 1500 Matthews Township Parkway, Matthews, NC 28105. Note : online applications accepted only.
• Schedule : Full time; Days and hours may vary, 8-hour shifts. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirement : Prior food service, customer service, and cooking experience is required.
• Fixed Pay Rate : $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary : Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
