Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $1,949 per week in Plano, TX

Job Title : Physical Therapist Profession : PT Specialty : Therapy Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Shift Hours per Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM Experience : Minimum 1 year License : Active Physical Therapy license Certifications : Current CPR certification Must-Have : - Acute care and / or inpatient rehab experience preferred - Must be available to work / rotate two weekend shifts per month Description : This position involves providing therapy to patients in a rehabilitation setting. The therapist will work with a variety of equipment including walking aids, weights, bikes, and treadmills. The staffing consists of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, rehab aides, occupational therapists, certified occupational therapist assistants, and speech therapists. Patient ratios are approximately 8-12 patients in acute care and 5-6 in inpatient rehab. Qualified candidates will exhibit flawless work ethics and good communication skills. Previous ICU experience and wound vac management are a plus. Functional mobilities and activities of daily living will be the primary focus of therapy interventions.
