Senior-level engineering position for product development, for highly experiencedengineers with multiple years of relevant experience in the medical device industry. The seniorengineer provides technical guidance and support to other engineers, while also performing complex

engineering and administrative tasks. They also maintain a high level of awareness of current industrytrends & best practices and propose new products / projects for implementation. Engineers at thislevel work under general direction from department leadership, and their work is typically reviewedupon completion, or at major project milestones (design reviews).

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Mentor to junior engineering staff.
• Project management for complex product development projects.
• Technical expert, capable of solving complex engineering problems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on relevant / emerging technologies.
• Generate IP.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on industry requirements & best practices.
• Write and support development of project proposals / business cases for new products &design changes.
• Support development of department budgets & project plans.
• Present design & summary of research results to cross-functional teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
