Associate Manager, Safety Strategy & Operations

DoorDash's Safety Strategy & Operations team is seeking an experienced Associate Manager to help shape our work in the Safety space. The Safety S&O team plays a critical role in ensuring every delivery on DoorDash is safe for Dashers, Consumers, and Merchants. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing candidate to drive strategy and execution in a critical area. As an Associate Manager on DoorDash's Safety team, you will provide strategic oversight, lead deep analyses, and drive end-to-end implementation of large-scale initiatives that advance the team's goals. You'll partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, Content, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Policy, and Legal, and manage relationships with external vendors. This role reports to the Manager of Trust & Safety.

• Define, launch, and execute various strategic initiatives focused on safety initiatives for Dashers, Consumers, and Merchants on the platform.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across the Safety S&O team, Product, Design, Content, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Policy, and Legal, and others to drive key strategic projects.
• Define key results that align with strategic vision that aim to track progress against goals, highlight tradeoffs and prioritization for initiatives across the team, and communicate out results to senior leadership.
• Generate high-level project plans with tasks, resources, dependencies, and dates.
• Prepare presentations and communicate findings to management and the broader DoorDash Integrity organization.

Compensation The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
