You’ll help maintain compliance with all regulations while fostering a calm, respectful, and team-focused care environment.

Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) :

Supervise nursing assistants and lead unit operations on your shift

Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed

Accurately chart resident care, including progress notes and medication administration

Administer treatments and medications as ordered

Perform clinical procedures (catheterization, IV care, wound dressings, etc.)

Build positive relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary staff

Participate in shift handoffs and rounds with physicians

Ensure HIPAA compliance and resident privacy at all times

Promote a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) :

Active, unencumbered LPN license in Illinois

Current CPR Certification

Strong clinical and leadership skills

Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Reliable, team-oriented, and compassionate care approach
