Position Overview

Sun Protection of Florida is the unrivaled leader in the realm of retractable awnings and motorized sunshades throughout Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas. We're proud to be a part of the Hunter Douglas family of brands. Over the past 14 years, we have been transforming our customers' outdoor spaces into places they can enjoy with their family and friends without the inconvenience of bugs, sun, and wind. We are currently seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Logistics Lead to manage the daily operations of our logistics team.

This role is essential to ensuring accurate scheduling, trailer coordination, inventory control, and seamless delivery execution. At SPF, we live our core values—Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, and Efficiency—every day to deliver excellence and reliability

What you'll do

• Lead and supervise the logistics team including material handlers and associates
• Coordinate and manage all inbound / outbound deliveries and ensure proper routing
• Respond to CRM tags and monitor scheduling timelines to ensure accuracy
• Ensure trailers are loaded by territory with accurate documentation and tagging
• Track inventory and audit material status for each scheduled job
• Work closely with Coordination, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to streamline operations
• Communicate with vendors and distributors to resolve delays and delivery issues
• Oversee creation and verification of delivery sheets and ensure quality control of materials
• Implement safety practices and oversee the condition of logistics equipment
• Generate weekly reports on logistics performance, returns, and trailer usage
• Manage cutdowns, warranty returns, and Return-to-Customer tracking
• Drive continuous improvement and technology adoption for increased logistics efficiency
• All other duties as assigned
