Position Summary The Dispensing Pharmacist is a vital member of the Akina Pharmacy team, responsible for ensuring the accurate verification, and dispensing of compounded medications.

This role requires a detail-oriented, highly organized pharmacist who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while upholding the highest quality and safety standards.

In this role, you will oversee prescription accuracy, verify compounded medications, and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure timely order fulfillment.

You will also assist in maintaining compliance with internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control processes.

• Meeting Turnaround Time Metrics for Product Fulfillment Ensure medications are dispensed and prepared within established turnaround time goals to maintain efficiency, meet patient needs, and support the pharmacy’s commitment to timely service.
• Medication Dispensing and Fulfillment Oversee the dispensing process, ensuring compounded medications are properly labeled, packaged, and prepared for patient delivery in a timely manner.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance Adhere to all internal SOPs and regulatory guidelines for pharmacy operations, including documentation, quality control, and beyond-use date verification.
